Amanda has over 19 years’ experience in the Veteran and military charitable housing sector and prior to joining Haig Housing in October 2020, she was the Head of Housing for SSAFA, The Armed Forces Charity. There she led on the award-winning Norton Homes for Wounded Injured and Sick personnel and their families and also on the design and delivery of the New Norton House at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre at Stanford Hall. Passionate about our Armed Forces and their families and the joint working and partnership to deliver excellence, evidenced in her teams management of Fisher House UK. Dedicated to providing excellent beneficiary-focused affordable housing, Amanda believes firmly in making work fun and enjoyable whilst holding the beneficiary at the heart of all the charity delivers.
