I served my whole career in the Royal Marines under you.
Although I never had the pleasure of meeting you it makes me happy that you are now once again with the love of your life prince Philip.

I was fortunate to meet our Queen during the opening of our estate in Morden. The memory of which will live with me for the rest of my life. We all find ourselves a little unsure of what now lies ahead, and your words of comfort cannot be heard. My children were privileged to have met you and presented you with flowers, at the opening of Queen Elizabeth Terrace, a memory they will treasure for many years to come and to share with their families in the years ahead.

After a life dedicated to serving your nation now is your time to rest in eternal peace and let your Girl Guiding light carry you to your final resting place in the sky next to your beloved husband, Prince Phillip.

A sad period in our lives.

I was proud to have served you your majesty.

What a sad time this is, i swore allegiance to Her Majesty the Queen in 1979 and served her faithfully for 35 years, she served this country and the commonwealth with a total commitment for 70 years. Not only was she our queen she was a mother, grandmother and great grandmother, my heart goes out to all her family members at this sad time. Thank you for everything you did for us. This is a very sad time and my heart goes out to the whole of the Royal Family. I was privileged to serve with the 1st Battalion Scots Guards with the Queen being our Colonel In Chief. I have many memories from carrying out guards at the Royal Palaces and meeting the Queen and other members of her family whilst doing so.

My heartfelt and sincere condolences to His Majesty The King and The Royal Family.

As a veteran and a loyal British subject, Her Majesty The Queen was my Commander-in-Chief, whose steadfast example and leadership I followed. During my service, I had the honour to meet her on several occasions and was struck by her genuine interest in me and my experience in Afghanistan in 2008. She personified all that was great in the world and her passing leaves a vast hole in the soul of the nation. However, I have no doubt that her great service will be continued by His Majesty The King.

It is with profound sadness that I offer my condolences to His Majesty the King and the Royal Family. I do so on behalf of Haig Housing and also as a veteran who served Her Majesty during my time in the Royal Navy.
The recent Platinum Jubilee celebrations and heartfelt messages over the last few days have clearly shown the affection in which Her Majesty was held by so many people, both at home and abroad.
Queen Elizabeth II provided the backdrop to every important event in the life of our nation and the Commonwealth for over 70 years.
Her life of dedication, service and the highest personal standards have stood as a beacon of hope and reassurance in an ever-changing world.
We mourn her loss but celebrate her life and reign. We send our most loyal greetings to His Majesty King Charles III. Long live the King.

It is with enormous sadness that I send my condolences to His Majesty King Charles III and his family on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, his beloved mother, our Sovereign, Patron of Haig Housing and so much more to so many people in Britain and around the year.

Like all beneficiaries of Haig Housing, I had the immense privilege of serving her in our Armed Forces - as well as meeting her on several occasions: I recollect now that she was, as so many others have said - gracious and down to earth: quick to settle a nervous, young Lieutenant and someone who sparkled with wit and humour. I shall miss her enormously: she has been one of the few dependable and re-assuring constants throughout every day of my life. This, truly, is the ending of the Second Elizabethan Era and I wonder whether we should not know her in future years as Elizabeth The Great.
