Capital Appeal to Raise £3M to build 29 new homes and a Community Centre for Veterans

We are proud to be the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ housing. To commemorate our centenary in 2028 we have launched a major Capital Appeal to fund new homes for veterans and their families in housing need.

For nearly a century, Haig Housing has provided more than just a roof; we offer a foundation for growth, stability and community. We continue to transform veterans’ lives by providing a stable home for them and their families.

We currently house 4,000 veterans and their families across the UK, and receive a further 1,000 applications each year, yet demand outweighs supply. Which is why we are asking for your help.

We need to build more homes.

Our Centenary Capital Appeal aims to raise £3million to build 29 new homes and a dedicated Veterans’ Community Centre as an expansion to our Morden, South London estate.

This will become the largest community of British Armed Forces Veteran housing in the country.

We are delighted to launch the appeal with a £1million grant from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust. But we still have a long way to go to reach our target.

  • Demonstrate your commitment to British Veterans past and present with a ’cause related marketing’ partnership whereby you donate to our appeal every time a customer makes a purchase of a specific product or service
