Scotty,
You will be missed by all the Haig family, more than you know.
I will miss our talks, just simple catch up's with a bit of work thrown in for good measure. The way you used to have a property ready to let after just one day of being void because you were just that efficient and made us push ourselves for the beneficiaries. You always went above and beyond.
The stars have gained a bright one. Condolences to all your loved ones, I wish them peace and loving memories.

Scotty, such a gentle person, full of care and kindness, a true gentleman.

I only knew Scott for a few months, but in that time I was honoured to work with someone deeply committed to improving the lives of veterans and their families in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Our conversations were focused on making the Haig experience better for our beneficiaries, and he shared ideas with me. It's absolutely clear, from the genuine outpourings of grief, sadness and sympathy, that we have lost a good'un.

Scotty, I'm lost for words. You was a great buddy, confidant, teacher and team mate. I will miss our chats, and ping pong games, of asking each other to do things. You may also be pleased to know you have left me more things to do... I have to brush up on my ranger knowledge and have tea and a chat on the phone, these are just some of things you did for our beneficiaries! So thanks!

You worked tirelessly and you really was there for everyone! So rest now in peace, until we meet again buddy, Take Care.

My daughter and I were really sad to hear of Scottys passing. He was a genuinely caring and down to earth man who had such good connections with people.
He helped us a lot and everyone who knew him in our street only had good things to say about him. He will be missed and our thoughts go out to his family who have lost such a great guy.
