The government has launched a campaign to help improve veterans’ access to healthcare services, and opened applications to the £2.52 million Veterans Mobility Fund.

All veterans, service leavers, non-mobilised reservists, and their family members and carers can access a range of specialist healthcare and support created to provide treatment and care for many different problems.

The purpose of this campaign is to encourage veterans to let their GP practice know they have served in the UK Armed Forces; it’s important to ‘say you served’. It does not matter how long someone served for or when they left the Armed Forces, veterans should let their GP surgery know this information, as it may be relevant to their health and care, now or in the future.
