Haig Housing Trust Welcomes New Trustees to Its Board
Haig Housing Trust is pleased to announce the appointment of four new trustees, further strengthening the board expertise and leadership as the charity embarks on its next phase of development and growth.
Bringing a wealth of experience from across the housing, property, financial services, governance and regeneration sectors, the new trustees will play a key role in supporting Haig Housing’s ambitious plans and continued commitment to delivering outstanding services for its beneficiaries.
As Haig Housing nears its centenary in 2028, the board of trustees will play a vital role in ensuring that future generations of veterans have access to the safe, secure and appropriate housing they deserve.

Karan Martin
Karan brings extensive leadership experience across operations, transformation, governance and customer service. She has held senior executive positions including Chief Operating Officer at Legal & General in both the UK and the US, as well as within Legal & General Reinsurance in Bermuda. Earlier in her career, she served as General Manager of Customer Service at O2, leading large-scale customer-focused operations and change programmes.
Charlotte Davey
Charlotte is a former British Army Officer who completed two operational tours in Afghanistan. For the past 16 years, she has worked across the professional and financial services sectors, helping large, regulated organisations deliver complex transformation programmes and turn strategic ambitions into measurable business outcomes.
Steven Morrice
Steven is a Chartered Surveyor with more than 40 years of experience in residential and commercial property, development and asset management. He also brings over 20 years of board-level experience across publicly listed, private and not-for-profit organisations. Until May 2025, Steven served as Group Development and Sales Director at Hyde Housing, one of the UK’s largest registered social housing providers, managing a portfolio of more than 120,000 homes.
Martin Woodhouse
Martin is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive of PRD, a regeneration consultancy focused on housing, infrastructure and community outcomes. A Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years’ experience across both the public and private sectors, Martin is passionate about delivering positive social impact. Through PRD, he works with public and private sector partners to deliver regeneration projects that place community outcomes at the heart of development.
