Leave a gift in your Will
As one of the UK’s oldest charities, Haig Housing is committed to supporting veterans and their families with a place to call home. Right now, 1500 veterans and their families are living in houses with rents subsidised by Haig Housing to ensure the quality of life they deserve post-service.
After you have looked after family and friends, even a small gift can help us keep veterans in affordable homes.
How do I do this?
We use the National Free Wills Network. A qualified solicitor writes a simple Will at no cost to you. There is no obligation to leave anything to Haig Housing, though we hope you will consider it.
How it works:
- Email giving@haighousing.org.uk and ask for a Free Wills pack.
- The Network sends you a list of local participating solicitors.
- You book the appointment and take the yellow form from the pack.
- The solicitor drafts the Will to your instructions.
A simple Will is covered. If yours is more complex, the solicitor will explain any extra cost before they start.
