A PLACE TO BELONG
Alan's story
Since moving into his Haig Housing home with his family, Alan has become a valued part of the community.
With a proud service in the Royal Navy and a dedicated Portsmouth City fan, he helps neighbours with their gardens, organises activities for local children, and has watched his own family grow and thrive.
“Everyone knows each other. Neighbours either leave their kids with us, or we leave our children with them if we've got somewhere else to be.”

DEMAND IS GROWING
More veterans need the security of a place to call home.
Demand for veteran housing is rising at a time when affordable, secure homes are becoming harder to find. A home is not simply accommodation, it is stability, dignity and the foundation for rebuilding life after Service.
