Congratulations to the Coming Home team for completing the challenge in 9.5 hours!

On 13th May 2017, four of our employees took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Team Challenge for Coming Home, Haig Housing Trust’s fundraising campaign.

Despite the wet start, the day brightened up and the team were able to cover the course in an impressive 9.5 hours! The Yorkshire Thee Peaks Challenge includes the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborouge. The course challenges the participants to walk 24 miles across the terrain (and at points, ascend to 5,200ft!) to complete the tasks.

We are extremely proud of Andy Duffy, Michael Marven, Simon Griffin, John Lau and their friends for completing the challenge and are grateful for the donations they have collected for Coming Home.

Many badly injured ex-Servicemen and their families have already been provided with a home for life through Haig Housing Trust and the Coming Home campaign. The team hope that, through the public’s generous donations, Coming Home will be able to continue their fantastic work.
