Support three of Haig Housing Trust's employees as they take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge!

On 13th May 2017, three of our employees will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Team Challenge for Coming Home, Haig Housing Trust’s fundraising campaign.

The Yorkshire Thee Peaks Challenge includes the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The individuals taking part are Andy Duffy, Michael Marven and Simon Griffin. These daring Housing Managers and Development Manager will be walking 24 miles and ascending to 5,200ft in under 12 hours to raise money for Coming Home.

Andy, Michael and Simon are self funding the event and their costs so all the money donated will be used to provide specially adapted housing and support for injured ex-Service personnel. Many badly injured ex-Servicemen and their families have already been provided with a home for life through Haig Housing Trust and the Coming Home campaign. The team hope that, through the public’s generous donations, Coming Home will be able to continue their fantastic work.
