The Picnook on Friday 15th July at Nook Lane Junior School in Sheffield was a great success and raised £481.07 for Coming Home. Typical British summer weather didn’t dampen spirits

On the last day of term as local bands Sour Cherry and The Marshalls (who used to be students at the school!) provided live music, and local Stannington businesses donated raffle prizes, raising an extra £221. Ice cream company “Our Cow Molly” donated a freezer full of ice cream to the event, Coming Home merchandise and two tickets to a football match were sold, all helping to raise the money.

Organisers Mrs Sue Coates-Linley and Mrs Mandy Mills would like to thank everyone who turned out to support the event, and especially Nook Lane Junior School for allowing the school to be used as the venue.
