Staff, family and friends of Coming Home raised £5,995.85

With temperatures hitting over 30 degrees (82F) on an unseasonably hot autumn day, a group of 40 Haig supporters walked 17kms (10.5 miles) crossing 13 London Bridges from Putney Bridge to Tower Bridge.

After a short photo opportunity at Coming Home Supporter Boris Johnson’s City Hall on the South Bank, the group was joined on Tower Bridge by Pa Modou Njie, one of Coming Home’s benfeciaries, to walk to the final destination to the Tower of London, where the group was not thrown into the Tower for obvious madness walking on such a hot day as expected but were warmly welcomed by a Yeoman Warden.

This event was an enjoyable and challenging day for all involved and an excellent opportunity to raise funds and awareness for Coming Home.

So far £5,995.85 has been raised - it’s not too late to support us through our fundraising page here
